DHgate.com is a Chinese wholesale website, with buyers from over 230 countries in the US, Europe, Australia and Asia. The website offers more than 1 million products, which can be bought by using quick-and-easy online purchasing process, supported by a knowledgeable customer service team. While their business and website performed very well, DHgate was in need of a system to stay in touch with their members, to build a long term relationship with them and to keep them up to date.

The Turn

DHgate decided to use Footprint, the advanced email marketing platform of Yourzine, to communicate with their customers. After Yourzine evaluated DHgate’s member database and build the newsletter design, DHgate’s staff was trained how to use the system. At that moment, the first newsletters were send out.

The Prestige

Currently, DHgate sends out their periodic newsletters to theirs buyers every month regularly for the products promotion. The easy to use interface allows them to create and send out their own newsletters. With Yourzine’s support, DHgate has added email marketing very successfully to their marketing mix. Because of the good cooperation between DHgate and Yourzine, they decide to integrate Footprint into theirs CMS system.
