The Pledge

Colours (formerly known as LECTRIC internet solutions) is a Dutch interactive website development company, part of the international LECTRIC group. With the introduction of their new name they wanted to attract attention to the new Colours brand and website by running an online campaign. Colours decided to outsource this project to Yourzine China, where the campaign had to de developed and implemented within an extremely short time period of 5 working days.

The Turn

Yourzine China developed an online Flash survey game to attract attention to the new Colours brand and website. This survey game tests the knowledge of the participant in the field of usability. Based on their results participants will be get a rating on their usability expertise. After completion of the game, participants can fill in a bonus question (to win a free internet usability consult from Colours) and invite friends to participate in the survey. Due to Yourzine’s fine project management, the development and implementation of the campaign was completed within the given time period.

The Prestige

Through the flash game, a lot of traffic is generated to the new Colours website, and attention for the Colours brand is created. Thousands of persons played the online game, and most participants forwarded the game to their friends. During the online campaign period, the Colours website was visited extremely well. Colours reported to be very satisfied with the online campaign and the results. With this project, Yourzine China showed it can be a successful outsource partner as they work according to Western quality standards, time schedules and project management.
